2013 AIA Philadelphia Awards

Erdy McHenry Architecture took home the Gold Medal for the Cornell University Teaching Dairy Barn. DIGSAU won Honor & Merit Awards for the Frankford Friends School, Sister Cities Park & the Schuler Residence. Ewing Cole’s Truxal Library at Anne Arundel Community College, MGA Partners’ Master Plan and College Commons at Franklin & Marshall College and KSS Architects’ Eden Autism Services all won Merit Awards.

Colombiere Selected for Prestigious Architecture Award

The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies selected sixty-five new buildings, commercial and institutional developments, and urban planning projects for The American Architecture Awards for 2013.

The awards program, the most prestigious in the United States, honors new skyscrapers, commercial buildings, urban plans, private residences, and real estate projects that achieve a high standard of excellence in design, construction, planning, and sustainability and promote the best practice in all types of real estate development for the private and public sectors, including new skyscrapers, high rises, corporate and institutional buildings, commercial projects, city planning, restorations and adaptive reuse, religious and civic buildings, and interiors.

American Architects selects the 104 Bayard St. to represent New Jersey as their 50X50 Building of the Week. The project was photographed for DI Group Architecture. American-Architects is taking a state-by-state look at architecture in the United States for the Building of the Week feature.
